General Summary
This is an entry level position that assists Drillers on a 3- or 4-person crew on mineral or water drilling operations. This job requires travel and must have reliable transportation to get to job sites. Must possess a valid driver's license. Current work locations in AZ, NV, NM, and CO.Ability to lift drill pipe and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Assist crew chief in maintenance and repairs to drill rig.Load and unload trucks.Collect and correctly mark cores samples to be analyzed.Move drilling rig and equipment from site to site and set up.Operate equipment such as pumps for air, water and drilling fluid, front end loaders, fork lifts, and trackho’s – will train.Carry out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning.Perform other duties as assigned.About Granite Construction Incorporated
