Drinking Water Project Manager

We’re seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon or Bellevue, Washington. Someone who can use their strong experience in the water industry and apply it to today’s challenges. As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water and wastewater systems with a focus on drinking water distribution, storage and treatment facilities and help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by leading project delivery teams in utilizing desktop calculations, planning, design, start-up and full-scale operational troubleshooting. We’ll rely on you to support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed.  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering. • At least 8 years of experience in relevant water and wastewater infrastructure design and planning including drinking water, wastewater, and reuse treatment facilities as well as distribution, storage and collection systems • Planning and design experience in water distribution system, including pipelines, pumps stations and storage tanks • Planning and design experience in wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump station, and treatment plants and knowledgeable about water systems. • Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies. • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities Ideally, You'll Also Have: • Master’s Degree • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
