\n\nHilton Istanbul was the first modern hotel built in Europe after the Second World War.\nHilton Istanbul appears in the opening scene of 1963’s From Russia with Love, starring Sean Connery as James Bond.\nIstanbul’s first discotheque, Cloud 9, oapened at Hilton Istanbul in 1972.\nPilsen Pub, built in Hilton Istanbul in 1972, was the home of Istanbul’s first happy hour.\nMuhammad Ali was staying at Hilton Istanbul when he announced his retirement from boxing in 1976.\nHilton Istanbul has hosted royalty, politicians, and famous figures including Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Louis Armstrong.\n\nHilton Istanbul Bosphorus has been also described as the university of tourism and filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality since 1955.

\nAs a Drinks Director, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\nBusiness Function
\n\nMonitor the division’s performance and service standards by analyzing of guest feedback and financial results, and initiate corrective action as needed.\nIdentify opportunities to increase profits and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary changes.\nEnsure the drinks team is properly trained, certified and equipped to effectively carry out their responsibilities.\nProvide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to manage conflict and improve performance.\nPrepare and monitor Beverage budgets, with focus on controlling expenses and ensure targets and objectives are met.\nOversee the day-to-day operations of our bars, ensuring service standards\nAssist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies\n\nManaging Execution
\n\nLead the management and coordination of drinks operations, ensuring quality and service standards are met.\nEnsure a high standard of guest service, addressing and resolving any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.\nCurate, plan and execute promotional activities and special events\nManage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.\n\nDeveloping Talent

\n\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are anticipated and met. Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement\nWork closely with other departments such as the kitchen, operations, and marketing to coordinate events, promotions, and special offerings.\nEstablish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers of spirits, wines, mixers, and bar tools.\nBuild relationships with the local community through collaborations with charities, local events, or sponsorships that align with the venue’s values.\nBuild a cohesive, motivated, and high-performing bar team by fostering trust, communication, and mutual respect.\nSupport sustainability initiatives and environmentally responsible practices, gaining goodwill and positive public perception.\n\nWhat are we looking for?
