Develop Axle product proposals and strategies to support Global Cycle Plan, including ongoing analysis of future technologies and competitive trends Work with GCRS (volumes database) to develop volume summary and other documents to share information with Product Development, Business Office, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing and Finance Utilize corporate databases on competitive benchmarking and future technologies to compile relevant information that will aid in product proposals and strategy papers Assist by supplying input data (volumes, investment, timing, etc) to cross-functional teams working on Business Cases, Fuel Economy projections and/or CO2 calculations to help ensure that future product plans are aligned with both corporate strategy and regulatory requirements Support development of timing plans that streamline engineering development and delivery while delivering quality targetsYou'll have...
Minimum
BS in Engineering (MS/MBA is desirable) 5+ Years - Prior experience in Driveline/Axle engineering, PT Planning, PT Manufacturing or Purchasing is desirable Ability to set-up, lead and follow-up on cross-functional team meetings 5+ Years Product Development Planning knowledge Excellent written and communication skills High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

What you'll do…
Lead the Unit Program process by:
Supporting development of Unit Program proposals that are aligned with PT technologies, platform plans and key corporate strategies Lead the Cost Study process, which will include aiding in compilation of the Cost Study Request, coordinating and supporting working-level meetings to confirm Cost Study assumptions and attending Roundtable and Kick-off discussions Scheduling working-level meetings with Product Development, Business Office, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance and Purchasing to complete template slides that feed into the final Unit Program milestone paper Schedule approval cadence meetings in FRS and through meeting coordinators to ensure review cadence meets Unit Program timing Support approval meetings where necessary Support Corporate Fitness Initiatives by helping to develop product proposals and strategies that reduce cost and complexity Build relationships with cross-functional teams (Engine, Underbody, Purchasing, Finance) while also interacting with other Planning functions (Cycle Plan, Vehicle Planning, P/T Planning) to aid in delivering data/information on time and with high quality Opportunity to gain experience in global planning and delivery process due to regular interaction with FoE and AP colleagues Opportunity to improve presentation skills by presenting to cross-functional teams and, periodically, presenting to senior leadership
