Health Aide Professionals from the Essex County Area in the am to clients in the Hackettstown/Mount Olive Area. He or She must be courteous, adheres to safe driving standards and extremely punctual. Additional duties include maintaining a mileage log, gas log, vehicle inspection log and other necessary documents. The driver will operate the agency's vehicle for transport and expected to always maintain a clean and safe vehicle. The driver will report maintenance issues, tickets and ALL matters concerning the vehicle and his or her drivers' license to the Agency Administrative Assistant immediately.  To ensure quality care Aides must be picked up in a timely manner for the purpose of servicing our clientele. Shuttle drivers must maintain a presentable appearance.

Drivers must be willing to work flexible shifts to meet the needs of clients scheduling.

Responsibilities

 

Comfortable with modern technology utilized on cell phone Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary Refuel vehicles and ensure they’re always ready for use

Required skills and qualifications

Valid driver’s license Clean driving record for at least one year Ability to drive for extended periods Strong commitment to safety Excellent navigational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills
