**Description** Compensation for this Role: $29.00 to $33.00 per hour. DOE General Responsibilities Works with a commitment to safety Upholds the core values of Encore Electric Acts as a professional and uses basic work ethics • Comes to work on time every day with appropriate attire and tools Keeps work area clean Installs quality work in a neat and workmanship like manner Treats tools with respect Works and climbs on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms Identifies electrical parts and components Perform strenuous physical work i.e., digging, kneeling, shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing Keeps up with changing technology Keeps up with the national electrical code Wears tools at all required times Work in all weather conditions **Specific Responsibilities** Drive truck to deliver electrical parts and materials Constant communication with Foremen on jobsite to coordinate delivery method, drop off area, size of load, delivery times and pictures Ask for help as needed Load and unload truck in a manner that is both safe for driving on the highway and efficient for delivery route Strap down loads and ensure gates are properly latched Plan delivery route including obtaining necessary directions and contact information prior to departure Complete delivery log for every delivery Keep truck neat and clean, performing preventive maintenance checks and services each day to ensure truck is safe for operation Work in the prefabrication shop to fabricate small electrical pieces Ensure housekeeping in prefab shop is under control Participate in yard and office clean up and delivery duties Prepare and pack boxes to be filled with completed prefab material and shipped to jobsite Fabricate plugs and switches, recessed cans, and other repetitive work Perform duties as assigned by lead personnel Other duties as may be assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: Basic work ethics (coming to work on time every day with all appropriate attire and tools) How to learn by doing and through example Skill in: Using basic hand tools Using band saw, sawzall, battery drills, power drills Using basic cleaning tools Understanding and taking direction Knowledge retention Performing work with hands Ability to: Discriminate between colors PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: A functional physical is required to be completed and passed before work can be performed in all field positions. The physical requirements can often be completed repetitively and for extended periods of time.
