ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Transport visitors in company vehiclesDeliver the required narration throughout the designated routesKeep vehicles appropriately supplied i.e. fuel, fluids, first aid kitKeep all vehicle logs (mileage, fuel, lost and found, etc.) currentOperate the vehicle to insure visitor safety and vehicle protectionProvide excellent customer serviceMaintain a positive attitude while promoting a positive work environmentMaintain excellent working relationship with co-workers, vendors, suppliers, and a wide range of company representativesPerform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and to report any deviations of environmental policy to supervisorBe familiar with location and access for pickup and drop off locations raft passengers useOperate vehicles in a safe and efficient mannerSKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.Must maintain a current Driver’s License with passenger and air brake endorsementsUnderstand general vehicle maintenanceAbility to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.Knowledge of the roadways in and around the city and resort.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 30 lbs. regularly, 40 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Reading and writing work-related documents in English.Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.Founded in 1917, Guest Services has worked tirelessly to earn the reputation as the premier hospitality management company and National Park Service concessionaire in the United States.
