Our client, an apparel manufacturing, is seeking a Box Truck Driver to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves safely transporting goods, maintaining delivery schedules, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about driving regulations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck to transport goods to designated locations.Load and unload cargo using appropriate tools and techniques.Ensure accurate delivery of items and obtain required delivery confirmations/signatures.Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any issues promptly.Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries, considering traffic and weather conditions.Adhere to all state and federal driving regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel usage.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed (e.g., refueling, tire checks).Provide exceptional customer service by handling goods with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Proven experience as a box truck driver or in a similar role preferred.Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL may be required depending on truck size).Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 7 years.Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor as required.Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning.Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal driving regulations.Must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility required for overtime and occasional Saturdays).
