Our client, a food distribution company, is looking for a Class C Driver to join their team in Hayward, CA. This role involves preparing and delivering food products, maintaining vehicle compliance, and ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare packaged products and pallets for loading onto trucks.Verify and organize invoices for deliveries.Ensure efficient and timely deliveries to customers.Maintain delivery vehicles and refrigerated boxes in proper working condition.Conduct daily truck inspections for performance and damage.Provide courteous customer service throughout deliveries.Maintain communication with sales and dispatch for seamless operations.Handle product returns, credits, and money collection as needed.

Requirements:

Valid CA Class-C Driver’s License (Required).3+ years of experience driving bobtail trucks and operating reefer units.Ability to operate bobtail trucks, reefer units, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS equipment.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
