The Opportunity

As part of our Operations Team in Woodstock, the Driver Coordinator (Afternoons) is responsible for:

Communicating TMMC requirements / requestsParticipating in and supporting driver retention initiativesMaintaining driver relationsMonitoring driver performanceAssisting with the development of the required driver skills i.e.: customs, Hazmat, hours of service, policy, regulations, satellites, etc.Assisting with contingency planning for route coverage issuesNotifying customers of all known delays and abnormal conditionsIssuing TMMC reports as requiredAssisting with solutions regarding any driver/customer concernsPerforming check sheet audits required by customerCompleting other duties as assigned

What you need to be successful in the role:

Strong attention to detailGood communications skills (written and verbal)Strong self-discipline and initiativeCreative and effective problem solving abilityIntermediate level computer skills and proficient keyboardingUnderstanding of North American geographyAvailable to work the afternoon shift; Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 12:00am
