Driver Disruptions Representative (Call Center)
Job Title: Customer Service Representative Job Description Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience and solutions in a contact center environment through researching, problem-solving, setting appropriate expectations, and working within the Transportation network. Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to schedules for start/stop times and breaks/lunches. Make outbound calls to understand potential or current issues discovered in the system related to transportation. Support workload surges and weather-related operations, including significant overtime during high-volume peaks. Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Work with cross-functional teams and provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability. Responsibilities + Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience/solutions in a contact center environment. + Research and problem-solve transportation issues, setting appropriate expectations. + Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to schedules for start/stop times and breaks/lunches. + Make outbound calls to understand and resolve transportation issues. + Support workload surges and weather-related operations with significant overtime during high-volume peaks. + Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources for reporting. + Work with cross-functional teams. + Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability. Essential Skills + Call center required, handling 60-80 calls per day. + Problem-solving skills. + Tech-savvy. + Experience in transportation, intermodal, logistics, supply chain, and driver support. + Ability to work in an unscripted environment, solving problems quickly. + Critical thinking, de-escalation, and resolution skills. + Ability to navigate multiple systems and tools to find solutions. + Adaptability to frequently changing rules and processes. + Experience in a performance-driven, metrics-focused role. + Self-sufficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 2 years work experience with Our Client or 4 years work experience in the logistics/transportation industry. + Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel based tools, familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, and ability to navigate and interpret data. + Flexibility to work all shifts, including day or night and some weekend shifts, as the team provides 24/7 tactical support to the fulfillment network. + Preferred: 2 years work experience in logistics/transportation industry. Work Environment Starting January 2025, all employees will be required to work onsite 5 days per week. Work hours are from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm MST. Must be available to work at least one weekend day, possibly two Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
