Summary Provides initial emergency measures and continuum of care on neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the level of training as an BLS/CPR/AED trained provider. Performs in the pre-hospital environment to the level of training established by your state for an EMS Driver. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Performs as an EMS Driver for Ambulance Service and for the Emergency Department. + Maintains ambulances and equipment. + Participates in EMS Performance Improvement Process. + Performs patient focus care. + Provides patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education. + Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery. + Completes assigned goals. Requirements, Preferences and Experience Licensure, Registration, Certification Minimum: BLS within 14 days of date of hire / AED / CPR for HCP by American Hearth Assc. Special Skills Minimum: A current driver's license with acceptable driving record as per Ambulance Service Fleet Safety Policies including completion of EVOC or EMD course as required by your state.
