Linde Gas Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Driver - Filler to join our team located in Lancaster, TX.
Our Driver – Filler are responsible for safely and efficiently operating a local route delivery vehicle to deliver hard goods, compressed gas cylinders and associated products to customer locations. In this role, you also must be willing to communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their needs, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines. In this role you will also be responsible for filling, labeling preparing low pressure packaged gas cylinders and will also operate and maintain the cryogenic liquid filling system. The Driver – Cylinder Handler role at Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is physically demanding and requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.

What you will be doing: (CDL A or B)
Provide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering, which includes unloading of products and movement to customer use point and reloading the returned empty cylinders to the vehicleDriving represents as needed, includes delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer contact, vehicle AM and PM inspectionsAccurately counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked upComplete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC RegulationsPlacard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and Linde standardsConduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsIdentify need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance and ensure it is accomplished on timeProcesses medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and proceduresPerforms visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are requiredChecks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary productLoads and unloads product from weekly shuttle truckOperates and maintains cylinder scales and associated equipmentPrepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventoryCompletes and maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental proceduresOperates a forklift truck and other plant vehiclesOther duties as assignedLinde Gas Equipment Inc.
