Driver Helper – Local Food Distribution
$20.83/Hour | Night Shifts | Weekends & Holidays Required

As a Driver Helper, you’ll support our professional delivery drivers with safe and timely deliveries, build customer relationships, and ensure high-quality standards every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

Ride along with CDL drivers to assist with daily delivery routes.Load/unload products at customer locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or by hand.Provide outstanding customer service at every stop — be the friendly face of QCD.Assist with paperwork, route documentation, and accurate order verification.Help guide trucks safely during tight turns, loading docks, and parking situations.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, both in the vehicle and at customer sites.

Physical Requirements:

 

This is a physically active role — you'll need to be comfortable with:

Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 75 lbsPushing/pulling up to 150 lbsWorking in cold environments (freezer, cooler, and ambient trailer zones)Standing, walking, bending, twisting, and kneeling for much of your shiftExposure to varied weather conditions throughout the day Qualifications

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in food distribution or frozen food handling preferredAbility to read labels, verify orders, and follow delivery instructions accuratelyComfortable working independently and as part of a teamMust be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as neededExcellent attendance and reliability are a must
