Driver-Mobile Unit - Non CDL
Experience:
Proven experience in driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile units or large vans.
Skills:
Ability to safely drive and operate non-CDL vehicles.
Basic mechanical skills to perform daily inspections and minor troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and checklists.
Ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas.
Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Must be able to lift and carry light equipment when setting up the mobile unit.
Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Essential Functions:
Transportation and Setup: Drive the mobile OB/GYN unit to designated locations in NY and PA. Set up and break down the mobile unit at each host site in a timely and efficient manner. Transport the mobile unit between parking areas and campus buildings as needed. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety: Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed. Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations, ensuring the vehicle operates within all state and local compliance standards. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the mobile unit at the end of each week to ensure it is prepared for upcoming service. Ensure the mobile unit is in a safe, functional, and presentable condition at all times. Administrative Duties: Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for the mobile unit. Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations.Other Duties:
Attend mandatory monthly department meetings to stay informed about operational updates and team requirements. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.
