BREIEF SUMMARY OF POSTION

 

Outreach drivers provide transportation for our Amish Community to various Aultman facilities in Stark and neighboring counties. The driver will work various days and hours Monday through Friday. This schedule will vary on scheduled rides and the driver’s availability. The driver will input their availability at the beginning of each month. Occasionally, last-minute rides are requested and the driver will have the opportunity to fill in and work extra.  The driver will be assigned days when they will receive assignments. The driver will then calculate their routes and pick up times based on the customers appointment.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s license with less than 4 points Ability to safety operate motor vehicles for extended periods of time The ability to start the shift as early as 4:00AM when needed. Be able to drive a (12) passenger van with passengers. Be able locate and navigate to the customers’ residence in a rural area. Be able to assist older or disabled customers into the van. Be able to drive at least (2) hours without a break. If the candidate works another job, this position may not be for you.
