Driver Trainees receive training and coaching and perform driver duties that allow them to gain the necessary experience to qualify for a professional driver position.   Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: + Satisfactorily complete the company's Driver Training Program + Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle + Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck + Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles + Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments + Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel + Complete delivery and pick up paperwork + Pick up returned product as required + Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc. + Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle + Complete company training and certifications as required + Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers + Other projects or duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: + 0 to 1 plus years of Class A Driving experience + Must be at least 21 years old + Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, Learner's Permit, or equivalent driving experience in the military + Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds   Preferred Education and Experience: + High School Diploma or General Education Degree Equal Opportunity Employee & Physical Demands Reyes Holdings and its businesses are equal opportunity employers.
