WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

\n\nResponsible for the safe performance of drivers on the road and on 3rd party premises (loading or discharging) \nProvide support and subject matter expertise on the interpretation and application of the WTD and EU hours as pertaining to the road transport industry; ensuring that drivers are fully compliant with the law and regulations.\nDevelop SSOW and DPRAs to establish an operating standard for the business\nEnsure that all drivers are compliant with national and company regulations and requirements.\nLeads by example, winning the confidence of our customer and of colleagues\n Gain the respect of the driver pool \n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nClean driving experience with a minimum of 6 years in a driving role with artics/tankers \nGood knowledge of the application of rules relating to Working Time Directive and EU Rules pertaining to transport management. \nGood knowledge of the application of Tachograph rules and the use of the Tachomaster system\nGood standard of English \nCPC license holder \nHigh school Leaving Certification\nADI (Advanced driver instructor) Desirable \nCertificate in ADR regulations desirable\n\n
