Batteries Plus is looking for a full time Driver to perform deliveries of product and supplies to customers, other local stores, transfer product from regional warehouse to stores, recycling items to transfer stations, and maintain necessary paperwork through the use of a company vehicle (non-CDL)\n

\nResponsibilities:\n\nLoad, unload, and deliver product, recycling, or supplies to customers or stores\nFollow the safety requirements of customers while delivering to their premises\nConduct daily inspection of vehicle (report maintenance and deficiencies immediately)\nLoad and unload truck with hand operated pallet jack\nRotate and stock inventory\nBreakdown pallets, identify product, and accurately count product\nUse forklift to move and organize equipment\nCheck in store orders and assist in the warehouse\nFollow all safety procedures and rules established in the facility. Wear proper PPE\nKeep all work areas clean and free of hazards. Notify the supervisor of any safety hazards or damaged products\nActively participate in all safety and other training programs\n\nQualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent \nMinimum of 1 year of warehouse experience\nClean driving record for past 3+ years\nValid Drivers License\n\n

Preferred Qualifications:\n\nTruck driving experience\nExcellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications\nMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and carry auto insurance\nTime management and organizational skills\nClean driving record for past 3+ years\nOperate with minimum oversight after given instructions\nGood Communication Skills both written and verbal\nMust be able to become forklift certified, if applicable\n\n
