This position assists with inventories of equipment/materials, receiving and delivery procedures, fixed asset management and small tool distribution. What you’ll do as a Driver Warehouse + Drive safety amd follow company safe driving policies + Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered. + Use a stock issue control system that will account for and track all materials used in construction. + Able to load and unload trucks using a forklift. + Ability to drive a company truck in a proper manner to pick of material and properly secure load for travel . + Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner. + Maintain a “shelf stock” of parts, tools, and any other job required supplies. + Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard. + Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customer’s usage and tracking systems. + Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project. + Perform assigned tasks as related to specific functions that may include any combination of general clerical duties, tasks, or special projects as required or assigned (i.e. answering phones, filing, data entry, making copies, etc.) + Must have and maintain a CDL Class “B” driver’s license, CDL Class “A” driver’s license is preferred. + Basic daily maintenance of Company vehicle including fluids check, cleanliness, and vehicle organization. + Additional duties may be assigned What you’ll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + M ust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. + Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position. + A good driving record is required. + Minimum two (2) years’ previous experience or training. + Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Additional qualifications (if applicable) + Forlift and pallet jack operation is a plus. + Must have and maintain a CDL Class “B” driver’s license, CDL Class “A” driver’s license is preferred. + Be detail oriented with focus on accuracy. + Must be willing to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary. + Able to perform the essential functions required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
