Key Responsibilities:
The Driver is responsible for transporting products, materials, equipment, and World Vision staff to and from designated locations to ensure the effective implementation of World Vision projects and meet transportation needs at both the National Office and Field Offices.

Assist employees and guests:
Ensure that WV PNG Employees and guests have a vehicle for traveling on time.Conduct regular checks on vehicles for status:
All vehicles are physically and legally fit for driving in the country.All logbooks are kept and maintained on a monthly basis, and all usage of vehicles is identified from sheets/books.Fuel consumption and efficiency:
Maintain vehicle-wise fuel consumption information.Documentation:
Ensure all documents are in place so that no legal noncompliance occurs.Maintain copies of documents in an orderly manner.Ensure that the security policy is respected.Project Implementation:
Drive project field facilitators to the project site on time for project activity implementations.Arrange and ensure timely delivery of procured materials to the project sites.Coordinate deliveries from various suppliers to the office.Work with supervisors to stock goods received in the right place and keep a good record of what was received.Receive instructions and direction from the supervisor and attend to other operational tasks as assigned.Ensure vehicle and boat fuel usage are correctly recorded and reported to the admin staff.Safety and Security:
Drive carefully and with precaution at all times.Ensure vehicles and boats used for project activity implementation are always kept safe and secure.Make good judgment during roadblocks/accidents and use good negotiation skills to avoid unnecessary confrontations/conflicts.Compile vehicle accident reports and submit them on time to the supervisor.Management of vehicle:
Ensure the vehicle are washed and cleaned after every field trip.Identify and report any mechanical faults in the vehicle in a timely manner.Physically check and safely store fuel lines, and other equipment for the project boat after every field visit.Educational Qualification/Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Must have 2-3 years’ experience driving a vehicle.Certificate in Secondary Education and hold current class 6 driving license.Excellent driving skillsHave basic mechanical repair knowledge about vehicle and boat engine.Understand administrative and logistics issues.Ability to analysis problems and take next course of action.Proven experience as a team playerDemonstration of Networking and collaboration skillWorking Environment / Conditions
