Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Drives Service Operations Manager at ABB Motion Services. Our service division consists of 150 professionals across the country. Motion Services division has the leading expertise in drives, motors and generators life cycle management.Drives Service Operations Manager develops services operations to the next level according to the strategy. You will lead the Operations function at the local level, with full accountability of running the day-to-day operation. We wish you have the desire to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution in an extended value chain, as well as understanding about how to build and maintain a high-performing organization. Drives Service Operations Manager belongs to the Motion Services Management Team. Willingness to travel mainly in Finland is required. The preferred location for the role is Helsinki, Pirkkala or Oulu.You will be mainly accountable for:•Financials: Profit and loss responsibilities including revenue and profitability targets together with desired field service utilization rate. •People Leadership & Development: Ensuring team is properly organized, staffed and directed. Developing talent, reviewing organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuously upgrading skills across the operations•Strategy Responsibility: Executing a customer-focused Operations strategy derived from the overall business and functional strategy. Long-term planning of our competencies to be able to deliver various drives services towards the customer installed base in Finland •End-To-End Operation: Responsibility for sustainable and effective E2E value-chain from Customer to Supplier and from Order to Delivery. Cooperation and continuous development with our Service Supply Units•Safety & Integrity: Implementing and contributing to Health, Safety & Environment across the organization

Qualifications for the role

Proven track-record in leading operations, preferably in services Expertise in motors and drives is seen as a benefitPersistent attitude to develop businessOpen attitude towards new business opportunities, and to challenge team members with a positive wayCustomer oriented mind-setFluent written and spoken communication in English and Finnish, Swedish is an advantageB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field
