Position Overview: WebMD Ignite is focused on providing trusted information that helps consumers and providers make meaningful connections. As a Drupal Web Engineer, you will solve complex software development problems and participate in extending specific functionality in Digital Experience Engine, our custom-built SaaS platform.

 

Responsibilities:Design and develop full stack features for product-based sites using a best-in-class Content Management System tailored for health systemsBuild reusable code and libraries for future useEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityParticipate in agile SDLC best practices, continuous integration and delivery (CI-CD) as part of a progressive, agile organizational structureCommit code, perform code reviews, drive testing best practices, and assist with configuration and release management

 

Qualifications:5+ years of experience in professional web development preferred3+ years experience in PHPProficiency in Drupal 10, including custom theme development and thorough understanding of Twig files and YML configurationResponsive web development skills using JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, SASS, and HTML5Familiarity with GitExperience with package-management using WebpackKnowledge and experience around leveraging infrastructure, and building for scalability, preferably using local development practicesEnthusiasm for software development, solid communication skills and the ability to self-organize around the delivery lifecycleNice to have: Figma, VueJS, CI/CD with Pantheon, experience integrating oAuth and/or SSO with Active Directory
