We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dry Goods Manager to join our team at our Manufacturing Case Ready Beef Plant in Olathe, KS. As a Dry Goods Manager, you will be responsible for managing the dry goods inventory and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety. What you’ll do:
Manage dry goods inventory, including raw materials and packaging supplies, to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery to production linesDevelop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce wasteCollaborate with production teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and food safetyManage and train team members to ensure that all dry goods are properly received, stored, and distributed to production linesMonitor and report on inventory levels, shortages, and discrepancies to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with food safety standardsMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards and prevent contaminationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure that all dry goods are properly received, stored, and distributed to production linesDevelop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and Walmart's code of conductManage budget and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimize inventory management strategiesWhat you’ll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related fieldStrong knowledge of food safety standards and regulationsProven experience in managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory management strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management softwareWorking Conditions:
The dry goods manager will be required to work in a cold storage environment and may be exposed to extreme temperatures and humidity levels.The dry goods manager may be required to work in confined spaces and may be exposed to dust and other airborne particles.The dry goods manager may be required to lift and move product of up to 50 pounds.Schedule:
This is a full-time position, with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$139,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
