Dry Plant Operator - 2nd shift

Covia is looking for a dynamic Dry Plant Operator who will have a positive impact on the operations team at its Troup, TX location. 

 

2nd shift - 2:00pm-10:00pm

 

The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities: 

Perform all job duties in accordance with MSHA regulations and Company safety policies.  Safety First! Demonstrate the ability to operate, or learn to operate front end loader. Conduct preventative maintenance activities as directed. Maintain accurate production logs. Conduct maintenance work on shredder as needed. Maintain housekeeping in assigned area and as directed. Ability to work from elevated workplaces. Able to lift 50+ pounds.             Properly document work activities for work orders, fault reports, etc. Shift hours subject to change based on production requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required 2-3 years of experience preferred.  Previous experience within grinding, classifying and conveying systems a plus Demonstrated experience in contributing within a team of professionals to deliver against set targets. Demonstrated commitment to safety with previous experience in identifying and managing risks.
