Dry Product Development & Deployment Technologist - ANZ

Job Description:

Improve dry pet food manufacturing processes.

Collaborate with Process Engineers, Product Developers and Quality Teams to implement new products.

Permanent Full-time role based onsite in Bathurst (NSW).

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Development Technologist to join our Bathurst site, where you will own and deliver the R&D component of dry pet food innovation/renovation projects that deliver growth to the ANZ business.

What will be your key responsibilities? 

Planning and completing dry product development trials at pilot and commercial scale.

Planning and completing testing and evaluation.

Ensuring all assigned ANZ dry products meet defined nutritional requirements.

Creation of key dry product control documentation for assigned products.

Understanding and providing technical information about dry product design.

Writing and publishing Dry project completion reports in timely manner (±3months) after product launch.

 What are we looking for? 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological, nutrition or food sciences.

2-3 years in a Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering, or Product/Process Development

Working knowledge of food processing or product development is highly preferred.

Understanding of food testing methods and interpretation of results.

Experience in the application of scientific methodology.

Strong communication skills
