Job Summary:\n
Responsibilities include assisting the voluntary player workouts (January), Spring Training Minor League\/Major League and STEP Camp (February-March). In-season work based out of the Dominican Academy. Off-season availability for monthly Performance Camps (October-December) as well as DR Instructional League. This position also will be responsible to complete player evaluations on all DSL Cardinals position players observed during the 2025 season.\n

This position will report directly to Russ Steinhorn, Minor League Hitting Coordinator, Brock Hammit, Assistant Minor League Hitting Coordinator, and Larry Day, the Director of Player Development. The responsibilities include the successful instruction and implementation of the Operations Manual at the Cardinals' Academy in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Travel requirements: Jupiter, FL for voluntary players workouts, followed by Major League & Minor League Camp as requested. \n
Job Duties:\n\nAssist and support DSL Hitting Coach, Minor League Hitting Coordinators, implementing policies and practices established by the Cardinals' organization in the Operations Manual.\nComplete hitting analysis on all DSL position players.\nSupport and promote a positive atmosphere with the field coordinator, roving instructors, coaching staff and the players, with the emphasis on process.\nMaintain weekly communication with Minor League Hitting Coordinators and Director of Player Development regarding player concerns that need discussion.\nCommunicate with the PD staff as requested, for continuity of instruction.\nEmbrace technological tools that assist players with maximizing on-field performance.\n\n
Experience Required:\n\nProficient in modern baseball hitting technology\nExperience operating a hitting or pitching lab\nExperience with video editing software\nExperience in organizing and communicating advanced data and information efficiently\n\n
Experience Preferred:\n\nBilingual\nWilling to live at Cardinals' DR Academy if needed.\nCertifications in strength, body movement, and baseball related disciplines\nExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and SQL.\n
