DSP Developer - Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. Position:  DSP Developer – Summer Trainee 
Duration: 12 months with possibility to prolong 
Location: Poland, Kraków (hybrid) 
Education Recommendations: Active student status in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field

The MN RAN R&D L3 SW KRK1 department is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to advancing the capabilities of 4G, 5G, and future generations of mobile networks. We are responsible for the development of new features in Layer 3 (L3) software of BTS, which is crucial for the efficient operation and management of radio access networks. Additionally, we create and maintain In-House simulators' products that emulate various components of the network, enabling thorough testing and validation of our solutions. Our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement drives us to push the boundaries of what is possible in mobile network technology.

You should have:

Active status of student of Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education (for at least one year)Good English, both spoken and writtenReady to work full-time during the summer time DSP processors coding skills (programming using C/C++)Analytical and reasoning skillsExcellent communication skillsTeam player spirit

As part of our team you will contribute to our telecommunication projects. Your daily activities will be related to embedded systems development (RTL, formal and functional verification, processes automation).  You will act as a team member of a team that creates inhouse Nokia UE simulator.

You will:

develop knowledge of physical layer (L1 Layer),  implement physical layer telco specification (3gpp standard and O-RAN standard) using DSP, DSP programming using C/C++, gain experience in product development.
