**Purpose of Role**
The Professional, DTC Channel Activation, Retail Grassroots will focus on acquiring and engaging our target consumer, the 16-24 year old team sport athlete through branded experiences at DTC retail. S/he will help manage, plan, and execute local activations in retail, prioritizing the Global Baltimore Campus Store as well as supporting grassroots retail activations in other locations based strategic cities and partnerships. In addition, this role will support the evolution and direction of the grassroots retail playbook for the full fleet of North America stores. In this role, s/he will oversee all consumer-facing local retail activations inclusive of Campus Store Team Sports programming, the retail grassroots toolkit program for the DTC fleet, and team sales/grassroots retail events with our key sports properties and partners (e.g. Ripken, Canes, Unrivaled, Project Rampart, etc.) This position will empower store teams to build a deeper connection with the target consumer in their market and leverage grassroots events as a customer acquisition and business driving tool. Additionally, this role will be responsible for supporting NSOs with local outreach and coordination of team shop events.
**Your Impact**
+ Grassroots Programming: Execute and manage Global Campus Store Grassroots Programming.
+ Collaboration: Work with Team Sales, retail, and other departments to identify local schools, teams, and leagues.
+ VIP Events: Schedule and manage VIP Team Events, including invites and tracking responses.
+ Premium Experience: Ensure a premium experience for teams/partners during on-site events.
+ Event Management: Host at least 2 Team VIP events per month and track results.
+ Track and Field Programming: Manage track and field programming and plan Baltimore-based activations.
+ Community Impact: Spotlight 2 local Baltimore athletes each season with VIP experiences.
+ City Strategy: Integrate grassroots events into retail locations and engage strategic partners for VIP events (20% travel).
+ New Store Openings: Support new store openings by hosting private Team VIP events (10% travel).
+ Grassroots Toolkit: Refine and update the Grassroots Retail Toolkit annually, provide guidelines for in-store activations, and manage inventory and reviews.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree with typically 2 years of related experience or Master’s degree without experience or typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree.
+ Experience in project management within a corporate environment
+ Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
+ Deep understanding of the customer experience in retail
+ Experience in an event management and/or event execution capacity
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
+ Adaptable to changing priorities, reactive business needs and opportunities
+ Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
**Workplace Location**
+ **Location:** This individual must reside within commuting distance from our **Baltimore HQ** office.
+ **Return to Work Designation:** **3** days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
+ **Travel:** Must be flexible to work extended hours, including evenings and some weekends if necessary. Must be able to travel to support activations when necessary (DTC events, grassroots shop events, key activations in priority cities).

**Base Compensation**
$67,657.00 - $93,028.10 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
