DTE Specialist

Summary: The DTE Specialist position will focus on ensuring an efficient DTE process from quoting through planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive Deal Input form. Motor repair expectations will be funneled through this position. Create SRO’s for received motors. Create SROs for motors that have not been quoted prior to receipt of motor. Create job tablet packets for jobs. Select correct template for jobs. Complete Motor Intake form for motors that do not have POs and are not on exemption list. Deliver completed form to quoting. Schedule DTE of motor. Release jobs into DTE that meet the following criteria: PO received that covers DTE Motor is on exemption list Repair authorization received from customer Develop repair scope of work Utilize tablet packet information, visual inspection and customer expectations to develop a scope of work Consolidate scope of work for quoting and ops Enter operations, materials and labor required for repair of motor in Syteline Create operations necessary for repair based on DTE scope of work Create BOM (planned material) for materials needed for repair Create routings (planned labor) for labor required for repair Get updated pricing and lead time on materials as needed Provide incoming inspection report. Compare post DTE repair costs to existing “quick quote” costs and determine if motor will need requoted or can move to planning without requoting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

At least 5 years of related experience Experience with electrical rotating equipment, encompassing both AC and DC nomenclature Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills High attention to detail Provide excellent customer service Strong technical proficiency and in-depth knowledge of our products Experience with commodity indexes and cost drivers in the industry Exposure to value propositions
