As the DTO, Design to Order, System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our efficiency in responding to customer requests, optimizing performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for troubleshooting chiller performance, running tests, and assisting in the listing of our products with ETL. Where is the work:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
Key Responsibilities:
· System Model Management: Create and update system models (Trane UP2) to incorporate advanced vertical growth options such as pump packages, indirect free cooling, special free cooling coils, and new fans.
· Performance and Reliability Oversight: Ensure the performance and reliability of special options through risk and failure modes analysis and verification.
· Coordination and Alignment: Coordinate with the run facility and customer service teams to achieve alignment on witness test plans prior to testing.
· Customer Experience Support: Support run/witness testing of DTO units to provide the best customer experience.
· Production Problem Solving: Assist the operations team in resolving production issues related to DTO units.
· ETL Listings and Testing: Provide backup support for ETL listings and testing.
· Mentorship: Mentor and help grow less experienced members of the team.
· Travel: 10% domestic
What you will bring:
· Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
· 7+ years experience in product design, project leadership, or project management
Base Compensation Range is $90,000 to $120,000, under the Requirements of the job posting.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
