Be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Zero Trust Architect to support the DTRA I3TS program at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Duties include:

Direct and implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) for on-prem and cloud environmentsManage and provide Cybersecurity monitoring and incident responseDesign and implement Cybersecurity strategies in complex IT environmentsDevelop and deliver trainings and awareness programs related to Zero TrustConduct security audits and assessmentsCoordinate with cross-functional teams

You should have experience with the following:

Experience leading security projects and initiatives including Zero Trust implementationsExperience with risk assessment, threat modeling, and security policy developmentHands-on experience with security technologies such as:Endpoint protection, network security tools, threat intelligence platformsIn-depth understanding of NIST Special Publication 800-207; Particularly the principles and concepts of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)In-depth understanding of the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture Version 2.0Ability to articulate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency using and configuring security tools relevant to Zero TrustEx: micro-segment tools, identity governance, and administration solutionsFamiliarity with network security protocols and technologies, including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systemsUnderstanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and solutions; Including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security2+ years of direct Zero Trust principles and implementation experienceRequired certifications: CASP+ or equivalentTS/SCI

Desired Cert:

Zero Trust certificationCISM, CISSO or equivalent
