Dutch/German Content Builder – Contract, Remote, Full-time Contract Estimated Duration: Jan 2025 – Nov 2025
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team.
This person will build documentation and eLearning content for an international financial services company.
We are building training materials for thousands of participants throughout Belgium, Germany, and The Netherlands. These materials being created in English, German, Dutch, and French for a suite of over 12 new software applications.
This position is remote and full-time. It can be filled from anywhere in the EU if the requirements are met.
RequirementsThe requirements for this position are
+ Motivated to complete allocated daily quotas for production of documentation, course outlines, courses, and software simulations.
+ Detail-oriented to implement defined standards, use prepared templates, and do QA for other teammates.
+ English fluent or native (to write the content).
+ Dutch fluent or native (to customize/write the content).
+ German basic (to navigate the content).
+ Experience in one or more of the following fields:
+ Content building
+ Multimedia development
+ eLearning development
+ Instructional design
+ Documentation
+ Other applicable areas
Expectations
Our plan is to work on items together as a team, in batches, in order of precedence.
The original documentation will be developed in English, then translated to all other languages.
The original courses, including lessons, videos, and simulations will be developed in German then translated to all other languages.
You will design and develop training materials in a timely manner, according to the following daily quotas:
+ EN Documentation Page in SharePoint: 6/day + Peer-to-peer QA: 6/day[1]
+ DE Documentation Page in SharePoint - Verify machine translation: 10/day
+ DE Course Outline: 7/day
+ DE Video - Original video: 3/day
+ DE Software Simulation: 4/day
+ DE Build Course: 3/day
+ DE Create Synchronous Session/Course Curriculum: 7/day
+ NL Documentation Page in SharePoint - Verify machine translation: 10/day
+ NL Course Outline - Verify machine translation: 15/day
+ NL Video - 5/day
+ NL Software Simulation: 7/day
+ NL Build Course - 5/day

+ Articulate 360 Storyline and Rise

+ Learning management systems (LMS)
There is a possibility after this role is completed, that you may be offered to stay on as a facilitator to host live sessions in Dutch or German via Microsoft Teams, moderate conversations and questions, and provide support to training participants.
