Job Description -Dutch Speaking Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master you act as a liaison between clients, stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring that projects are successful and that the scrum team is enabled to deliver with excellence. You do not shy away from building a self-managing scrum team from scratch. You will be responsible for working with teams using modern software development techniques and help them to develop automated solutions that meet customers’ needs using the Agile methodology. Furthermore, you will be working closely with the scrum team and business stakeholders to advance Agile practices, which includes guiding and coaching the team to higher levels of team maturity.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the scrum team in high complexity work streams. Oversee scrum process, assess team maturity, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.

· Lead and facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, sprint planning, and backlog refinement meetings to ensure full team engagement and effectivity.

· Work together with different delivery teams and effectively manage interdependencies between Agile teams.

· Influence and collaborate with others to drive continuous improvement.

· Support and propagate transparency, inspection, and adaption as part of the Agile way of working.

· Shield the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.

· Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (e.g. cultural barriers, logistic challenges).

· Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.

· Report team progress through relevant and defined metrics.

· Collaborate with product owner, scrum team, and business stakeholders to understand business expectations and manage the product backlog and plan, execute and review the iterations.

Job Requirements

Knowledge

· Extensive knowledge in Scrum/Agile framework and methodology including large scale implementations – Mandatory

· Strong planning, decision-making and problem-solving skills – Mandatory

· Strong leadership and team building skills. Ability to lead and guide a project team and manage high performing resources – Mandatory

· People management and cross-functional project management – Mandatory

· Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives – Mandatory

· Excellent command of English and Dutch – Mandatory

· Technology savvy, with a clear picture of where and how information technology can be used to run businesses better and different

Experience

· Extensive experience in the role of Scrum Master using Scrum/Agile Framework/SAFe methodology – Mandatory

· Experience in Scrum/Agile framework and methodology – Mandatory

· Experience in managing cross-functional project teams – Mandatory

· Well-versed in Agile software development tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA – Mandatory

· Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management – Mandatory

· Experience in planning and organizing effectively and taking initiative within agreed parameters – Advantage

· Experience in inspiring, influencing and driving change across the business – Advantage

· Extensive experience in any role as part of a delivery team – Advantage

· Proven track record in coaching individuals and teams, preferably in large scale implementations – Advantage

· Fluent in Dutch & English.

Qualifications

· University degree - MSc degree (preferably in Business Administration, IT Project Management, Computer Science, Business and IT or related specialisations) – Mandatory

· Certified Scrum Master – Mandatory

· Scaled Agile Framework Certified (preferably (Advanced) Scrum Master) – Mandatory

· Prince2 / PMP Certification – Advantage

· Lean Six Sigma Certification – Advantage
