Duty Manager, MSP
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Base Maintenance will provide leadership to Base Maintenance personnel to ensure a safe, compliant and highly coordinated line operation. This position will report to the Manager - Base Maintenance. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): + Responsible for a shift operation. + Coordinates the proper allocation of personnel under their jurisdiction to accomplish the overall goals and priorities of Delta and their customers. + Conducts crew briefings. + Prepares and administers front line employee evaluations, solves technical and personnel issues, communicates and supports company policies, and handles administrative action. + Supports departmental goals through LPMs and KPIs. + Works and communicates with all levels of management. + Must be physically able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. + Develops, monitors and adheres to business, operating and capital plans. + Promotes continual process and operational improvements. + Provides guidance and training for assigned personnel. + Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment that result in employee safety and well-being. + Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles. + Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority. + Must be an AMT or higher classification. + Must have an FAA A&P license. + Must possess strong analytical skills along with a strong technical background in Delta’s maintenance practices, organization and procedures. + Should possess strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean concepts. + Should be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership, work well under pressure, act in a timely manner, and handle multiple tasks with continually changing priorities. + (If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. Pay Range: $134000.00 - $166000.00 Annually What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + A & P Certificate + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) + Base and Line maintenance and supervisory experience is preferred. + Familiarity with various computer software programs such as Word, Excel, DBMS, and other relevant software programs is preferred. + Project Manager Experience and/or PMP Certification is highly preferred.
