About the RoleIn line with Division objectives and under instructions of a manager, to provide and co-ordinate technical support/administration for moderate to highly complex systems/databases/applications for internal or external customers ensuring reliability requirements ranging from high to mission critical. To provide leadership for small or medium sized teams.

What to expect
In this role you will:
Perform Production Operations primary and backup Duty manager shifts Work on a shift schedule, including weekends, eligible for shift allowances in line with local policies ProdOps point of contact for Senior Management, Support DM and Command Centre for major incident handling Creates impact assessment after identified problem Provides input for the Support problem summaries Responsible/accountable for L1 local recoveries during shift Maintains local DM schedule Owner of the Incident, Change and near miss trend reporting Owner of the major incident simulation scenarios (developing & executing) Responsible for the Duty manager training roadmap and skills tracking, including detailed service area training Oversee critical CMC processes and SLAs, identifying opportunities for improvement Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to implement enhancements Works with SRE teams to further enhance the (monitoring) Tools and help develop best practices and Dashboards Provide training to Junior Duty managers and other stakeholders on key Business flows Participate in scheduled Swift BC activities during weekends Build relationships with Duty Managers in other departments like CC, BD and SDM, and owns the interlock meetingsDefine and implement recommendations on complex or ambiguous issues in either systems, or databases, or applications or a combination thereofReview highly complex problem situations and define preventive measures / improvements to processes, procedures or toolsMay have day to day operational responsibility regarding work allocation, shift schedules, skills development plans, quality checking and follow-up for one or several teams. Provide input to performance management and development of the team(s), liaising with line manager regarding growth opportunities.What will make you successful?
Bachelors Degree in IT or Engineering10 years of experience in a similar position of which 5 years within the SWIFT environmentAct decisively and create positive outcomesExhibit strong ownershipPossess structured troubleshooting skillsMaintain a can-do attitude, be flexible and confidently voice insights in high-profile situations.Understand Swift products and services, especially business flowsMaintain awareness on new products and servicesBuild and leverage a network with Swift departments like Products, BD, and Technology PlatformHave experience handling major incidents within SwiftWork well under pressure with a "Right The First Time" mentalityExcel in English business writingWhat we offer
