Duty Manager at M&S, Birmingham Airport
 

Pay Rate: £13.17 per hour, regardless of age + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, bringing your rate of pay to £14.67 per hour.


Shift Pattern: We have full time (30hrs) roles available. Hours of work between 5am to 12am, working flexibly over weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

Due to some responsibilities within the Team Leader role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol. At least 1 year experience working as a supervisor in a similar retail role is preferred

AS A DUTY MANAGER YOU’LL:

Take charge of creating a clean, welcoming atmosphere that surpasses customer expectations, consistently aiming to improve service. Guide and support your colleagues, maintaining a safe working and dining environment whilst being the go-to person for day-to-day queries. Coordinate team efforts. You'll oversee the unit's opening and closing, ensuring operational excellence, adhering to guidelines, and completing necessary documentation. Focus on operational efficiency, staying informed about unit performance, championing improvements and simplifying operations. Recognise and celebrate exceptional service within the team, leading by example, promoting inclusivity and motivation. Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and make thoughtful decisions, ensuring the team's success and delivering excellence in customer service.
