Summary:
This position will have responsibilities for capital pipeline projects. The majority of which will fall into the major projects pipeline group for products of Natural Gas, Natural Gas Liquids and Crude Oil. Projects will be both intra and interstate in nature in the continental United States. Position will be responsible to coordinate and communicate with the multiple internal departments to support successful project development which includes project scope development, cost estimation, and project schedule development. Position will require responsibility and accountability for successful project capture and execution to support the Partnership’s growth efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and direct resources to engineer, procure, construct and commission pipeline projects. Manage a portfolio of multiple projects for internal and external customers at geographically diverse locations at the same time. Projects are highly schedule driven to meet contractual commitments. Demands and timely turnaround of internal commercial requests are critical, as well as involvement with Operations, the final customer of the asset once completed. Develop capital, revenue and expense projections for capital projects to support economic evaluation of projects. Collaborate with Stakeholders to oversee the implementation and execution of approved projects. The Pipeline PM will hands on manage the project and will be wholly responsible and accountable for the entire project from FID approval thru in-service and as-built documentation and final turnover. Role provides management of relationships with customers, state/local agencies, and multiple contractors/vendors. Project Management of Capital Projects which includes: Cost Management including oversight of project cost control and forecasting. Schedule Management including critical path method schedule development. Scope Management including scope development and change management. Sets priorities and utilizes resources to accomplish project objectives according to short-term and long-term strategic plans. Develops and manages proper communication plans to support project execution. Responsible for technical review of designs, drawings, and studies. Ensure work is compliant with federal, state and local regulations (including safety, environmental and DOT) and internal policies and procedures.Required Skills
Requirements:
Education and Experience requirement: Minimum of 8-10 years of Midstream pipeline project management experience.· B.S. Degree in Engineering—Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, or Engineering.
· A current Professional Engineering License and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus but not required. Work history and applicants’ prior body of work successfully completing domestic pipeline projects from development thru execution is a must.
Prior pipeline project management experience, strong management and leadership skills, excellent communications, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple smaller pipeline projects and/or major pipeline projects at one time a must. Being highly efficient in time management and ability to be highly adaptable is a must. Proven track record managing multiple activities and priorities within fast-track schedules. Strong communication and team building skills. Demonstrated urgency in advancing projects to support objectives.Special Considerations:

Normal office working conditions as well as up to +25% travel. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Overnight travel may be required. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
