Essential duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity which includes:

Design, install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systemsPerform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipmentPerform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on control systemsMaintain electrical switch gear and power distributionPerform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing. Minimum Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience / knowledge and/or familiarity:

Understand and operate various electronic test instrumentsGood record of safe work practices.Working knowledge and/or experience preparing drawings of electrical circuitsWorking knowledge and/or experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagramsWorking knowledge and/or experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)Knowledge of National Electric CodesAbility to estimate installation, operating and maintenance expenses associated with electrical and control systems.Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frame

Certifications, licenses, registrations:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurersMay be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties

Competencies, skills, and abilities:
