Job Title: E-Coat Loader
Department: Ecoat Operations
Reports To: E-Coat Supervisor
Job Summary: The E-Coat Loader is responsible for the efficient and accurate loading of parts onto the E-Coat line. This role ensures that all parts are properly prepared and positioned for the electrocoating process, adhering to safety and quality standards. The E-Coat Loader plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of production and ensuring the highest quality of coated products.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Loading Parts: Accurately load parts onto the E-Coat line according to production schedules and specifications. Ensure parts are securely positioned to prevent damage during the coating process.
•    Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of parts before loading to identify any defects or lock down issues(wrong pin, missing pin, etc...) Report any discrepancies or quality concerns to the supervisor.
•    Preparation: Prepare parts for the E-Coat process, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts as required. Ensure all parts meet the necessary preparation standards.
•    Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling parts and operating equipment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
•    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts loaded, including quantities, part numbers, and any issues encountered. Complete necessary documentation for quality control and production tracking.
•    Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on loading equipment and tools. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including E-Coat operators and quality control personnel, to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
•    Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of the E-Coat process. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

Qualifications:

•    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a coating or painting process.
•    Skills:
o    Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
o    Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
o    Ability to read and interpret production schedules and specifications.
o    Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
o    Forklift Certified 


Physical Requirements:
o    Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
o    Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
o    Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and coatings.
 

Work Environment: The E-Coat Loader will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various chemicals, coatings, and machinery. The role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

 

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. Benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
