E Commerce Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

a. Financial Data Entry:

You will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions related to online sales, refunds, and payments into the accounting system.

b. Reconciliation:

Perform regular reconciliations of online sales records with payment processor reports to ensure accuracy.

c. Expense Tracking:

Track and categorize expenses related to e-commerce operations, including advertising costs, shipping fees, and technology expenses.

d. Accounts Receivable:

Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring that customers' online payments are processed promptly and accurately.

e. Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels for online products and updating these records as new stock arrives or is sold.

f. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, especially as they relate to e-commerce transactions.

g. Communication:

Collaborate with other departments, including the e-commerce team and finance department, to resolve financial discrepancies and provide support.
