Job DescriptionAs part of the expansion plans of Minor Hotels, e-Commerce and online sales have gained paramount importance. The scope of this job is to ensure we are competitively represented on our brand and product on all E-channels, Online or Digital media. This role will serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by developing and implementing key distribution and eCommerce strategies to optimize the distribution channel.
To serve the growing needs of the business and individual hotels by:
Implementing Minor Hotels’ long-term & short-term e-Commerce Strategies to boost Brand.com direct business in line with corporate initiatives.Ensuring optimal content of all Minor Hotels brands in all relevant electronic distribution channels.Assisting in establishing best practices to manage online campaigns to maximize direct revenue via Brand.com and promoting these best practices to hotels.Supporting hotels and e-commerce head in corporate as required to better manage and leverage e-Commerce channels & partners.Coordinating with hotels, partners, and agencies the execution of all e-Commerce activities for all Minor properties and implementing new e-Commerce initiatives to support hotels marketing strategies.Developing and optimizing the online content to maximise ranking/visibility of properties on various search engines and channels and on direct .com channelsTo conduct feasibility study, ROI and to suggest ways of improving ranking and revenue generation over e-channels.Measuring, analyzing and reporting eCommerce performances and suggesting tactics improvements and new activities.Produce weekly and monthly reports for each channels as required by the e-Commerce head and communicate with hotels and regional and cluster e-commerce leaders.Job Scope and General Purpose:
E-Commerce Executive is responsible for execution of digital media and e-commerce activities for Minor Hotels and its brands globally.This position will also support other corporate departments by developing digital marketing and e-commerce strategies in line with corporate directions and goals. Digital marketing efforts will include: Search Engine Marketing (including PPC and SEO), Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing and assisting with Social Media Planning.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

E-Commerce:
Implement, analyse, and develop e-Commerce tactics and activities for the hotels to increase and maximize direct revenue via Brand.com channel, including SEO, SEM campaign preparation and analysis. Advise hotels, measure and report on results, create best practices documents.Establish web traffic reports, analyse trends and production from all business streams, channels, and communicate results and best practices.Establish in-depth site-level traffic reports and data-mine figures to monitor KPI and identify area of improvements.Develop, monitor and communicate best practice rules to optimize content (images, content, links, and accurate translations) relevancy, accuracy and performance on Brand.com and work with hotels and the MARCOM team on corrective actions.Coordinate with new hotels and the MARCOM team to ensure an on-deadline and on- budget launch of their hotel site.Generate, manage, and measure the online tracking system for reporting procedure for any corporate and hotel campaigns.Develop, measure and optimize ROI on new traffic generating channels through affiliate programs, metasearch sites, PPC, SEO and new partnerships.Establish hotel level e-Commerce SOP and online training materials for Minor and hotels.Test, expand, and target new businesses from new geo markets by reaching to new web audiences (countries and languages) and improving % looker to % booker.Digital Marketing Responsibilities (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Mobile, etc.):
Serve as support point of contact for hotels within the for digital marketing/E-Commerce related questions and activitiesCollaborate with partner agencies to develop our different websites e sound and ensure ROI goals are achieved for SEO, PPC, mobile and social activity.Exhibit knowledge of CPA, CPC, CPM, e-mail buys, paid search, mobile and other conventional and unconventional internet advertising/acquisition modelsSupport the section head with and manage agency to ensure PPC and SEO plans strategically and efficiently fit each individual hotel’s goals and objectivesDevelop measure and assist in executing social media activity, which will include assisting PR put together creative strategies to generate Fan Base, working with agency on tagging and monitoring social media performance using approved tools.Strategy and Budget Management:
Support section head in the overall hotel digital and e-commerce budget and related vendor/agency relationships (i.e. Supporting billing and invoicing needs with each individual hotel, etc.)Identify, articulate and rationalize insights and recommendations to senior hotel management.Project and Third Party Agency Management:
Meet with digital and Ecommerce industry representatives (i.e. vendors, agencies, media partners such as Google, Baidu, Metasearch, etc. ) to gain insight to best practices.Technical:
To learn and be familiar with the technical set-up of all relevant e-Commerce channels or switches.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably in hospitality.Proficiency in SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and website management.Strong ability to analyze web traffic, KPIs, and ROI to drive performance improvements.Ability to coordinate and execute online campaigns, and manage timelines for hotel site launches.Excellent communication in both Chinese and English to collaborate with global teams, agencies, and partners.Familiarity with digital advertising models (CPA, CPC, CPM) and e-commerce tools.
