Job DescriptionAs part of the expansion plans of Minor Hotels, e-Commerce and online sales from Direct Channel has gained paramount importance. The scope of this job is to ensure we are competitively represented on our brands and products on all E-channels, Online, or Digital media. This role will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by developing and implementing key distribution and e-Commerce strategies throughout different channels, platforms, and partner systems.
Monitor and capture business trends and competitor analysis by channel, by brand, by hotel, and by product for each destination towards the company targets/goals.Effectively use analytical tools and demographic information to measure and analyse the Brand.com performance data and address the possible challenges for each seasonality.Execute regular e-Commerce activities and best practices across digital channels & platforms to generate direct online businesses.Establish and implement new assigned initiatives to explore business opportunities and learning for best practices.Coordinate and align digital strategies and execute e-Commerce actions with other departments including Social Media, Digital Development, Marketing, PR, Revenue, and IT as required.Assist and execute e-Commerce & Digital projects & campaigns as assigned.Update & configure Brand.com contents, web & IBE configurations, as well as translations via Minor’s content management systems.Assist with key e-Commerce setups for new opening / rebranding hotels.Explore and research any new business opportunities to improve rooms, F&B, Spa, Residences, and Events revenue through digital & online platforms.Assist & resolve e-Commerce online requests from hotels through Minor ticketing system. Measure, analyze and produce regular and on-request e-Commerce performance reports, recommending tactical improvements and new activities as required.Ensure that data privacy is part the daily activities of the organization.Conducting trainings to develop presentation skills & providing the professional consultancy services to the responsible business units.QualificationsCreative, diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills.Good English communications and writing kills.Multi-tasking skills, flexibility, and ability to prioritize the tasks & assignments.Open mind to discover, learn, and adopt new technology and any undiscovered systems. Often to be challenged for self-learning and self-studying. Logical, analytical and research skills required.Ability to effectively explain and present ideas in written and verbal format to team members, other departments, and hotels.Some project management or organizational skills would be a plus.
