PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Owens Corning Insulation Business is committed to being the industry leader in E-commerce in the building and technical Insulation markets, driven by achieving step-change improvements in our digital technologies and operational capabilities.
E-commerce is an emerging platform within Owens Corning. The role is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s short and long-term E-commerce vision and strategy. This role will be accountable to own the vision and lead the implementation of the E-commerce strategy, collaborating closely with our Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Global Information Service, Finance and Legal teams. This individual will also be accountable to be an industry and business expert of best practices in on-site search and merchandising, product content management, site technology selection, web analytics, digital catalogs, search engine optimization, and search engine marketing to drive above-market growth in E-commerce channels.
This role is a key member of the broader Insulation Market-Facing Digital and Strategic Marketing Team and provides thought leadership, insights, and coaching throughout the organization relative to E-commerce strategy & execution. Applicant must possess a strong digital and E-commerce background while demonstrating strong capabilities in project management, system analytics, and strategy development and implementation to help facilitate the organizational positioning of our brands and products in the E-commerce markets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
E-Commerce Strategy Development
Execution, Growth and Results
Deliver short- and long-term strategy and operating plans that enable profitable growth for Owens Corning. Develop processes and capabilities within Owens Corning to maximize value for Owens Corning and our customers across all channels – Marketplaces, Distribution and Retail. Lead E-commerce strategy partnerships with customers, aligning on initiatives that help to achieve incremental revenue and profitability for Owens Corning and the customer. Be a consultant to our customers and internal teams to raise the overall E-commerce acumen through education and active demonstration. Utilize knowledge of E-commerce technologies and tactics in product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), data syndication, etc to maximize value potential. Manage E-Commerce budgets. Negotiate with vendors on price/scope, align with businesses on allocation of funds for initiatives.
Cross-Functional Team Collaboration
Establish and lead the governance structure for E-commerce across the Owens Corning enterprise. Build and establish processes for brand protection capabilities and implement e-control policies along with legal across the enterprise such as pricing monitoring and enforcement processes Collaborate with digital and channel marketing to maximize awareness, consideration and purchasing through E-commerce channels. Collaborate and educate commercial teams to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and addressed. Collaborate with customer service, IT and supply chain to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of E-commerce orders.
E-commerce Capability Leadership
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption. Run proof of concepts of new technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the E-Commerce platform. Conduct and lead research on trends in E-commerce for the building materials segment. Establish improved capabilities to monitor, investigate and enforce online pricing of our products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Expertise in E-commerce customer expectations and the tactical methods to deliver those experiences Solid knowledge of E-commerce trends and marketplace platform strategies and fulfillment models Strong knowledge of The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon and other key E-commerce platforms Able to establish accounts, and navigate customer E-commerce platform to properly position OC product A track record of developing E-commerce strategy and programs that deliver quantifiable revenue growth and measurable return on investment Experience in B2C and B2B E-commerce content distribution/syndication, product set-up, marketing Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in E-commerce, strong industry connections Exceptional team leadership skills, including team member hiring and on-board orientation / training. Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking Proven success in building trusted, value-added relationships within businesses and functions. The ability to partner effectively with business leaders and achieve alignment of objectives and outcomes Respected, people-oriented leader with a passion for growth, development, and creation of successful teams ready to advance the future of Owens Corning Demonstrated ability to set global third-party sourcing strategies, manage delivery through third parties, and negotiate terms, conditions, and service levels with global vendors.
