The E-Commerce Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce platforms and logistics processes. This individual will be responsible for managing shipments between our warehouses and Amazon FBA, monitoring and analyzing logistics and inventories, and overseeing the quality assurance of our e-commerce store to ensure an exceptional customer experience (CX).\n

The Impact you’ll make\nLogistics Management:\nCoordinate and manage shipments between our warehouses and Amazon FBA.\nTrack and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.\nAnalyze logistics data to optimize shipping processes and reduce costs.\n\n\nInventory Management:\nMonitor inventory levels across all channels and warehouses.\nConduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.\nWork with the procurement team to ensure stock levels are maintained to meet demand.\n\n\nE-Commerce Store Management:\nOversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce store.\nPerform quality assurance checks to ensure product listings, pricing, and promotions are accurate.\nCollaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.\n\n\nData Analysis & Reporting:\nAnalyze sales, inventory, and logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\nGenerate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.\n\n\nCustomer Experience (CX):\nEnsure that the customer experience is consistently high-quality across all touchpoints.\nImplement and monitor customer feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.\n\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nAttention to Detail: Monitor error rates in daily operations through supervisor feedback and peer reviews.\nAccuracy in Logistics Management: Conduct regular audits of shipping documents; track error rates based on logistics partner feedback.\nQuality of Inventory Management: Assess discrepancy rates in inventory counts; maintain optimal stock levels based on procurement feedback.\nAnalytical and Reporting Quality: Gather feedback from management on the effectiveness of insights provided; evaluate the impact of reporting on decision-making processes.\n\n
What to expect… \n\nRemote Work\nWorking hours: Monday-Saturday, from 9am - 5pm CST\nSalary: $5/hr\nTraining program:\nDay 1: Candidates are provided with their credentials to tools and templates in responding to customer inquiries. Tools onboarding with Google Workspace.\nDay 2 to 5: Shadowing sessions with tenured CSRs and continued tools onboarding.\n\n\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nProven experience in logistics.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel or Google Sheets).\nStrong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExperience in the e-commerce or retail industry.\nFamiliarity with inventory management software.\nStrong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and Amazon FBA processes.\n
