The E&I Technician are responsible to ensure effectiveness and compliance to all management system which is has been practiced in the company. The E&I Technician will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve the plant maintenance as well as plant improvement.
Key responsibilities Set-up, field/bench calibration and troubleshooting of temperature, pressure, flow, level, PH, conductivity analyzer and control valves. Loop checking on centralized I/O PLC and DCS system. Commissioning on DCS or PLC I/O system. I/O wiring and addressing systems, I/O cards test & change-out, processor change-out. Standby during start-up on specific systems. To restore the plant equipments to normal function after unplanned breakdown. To be familiar to all production processes and procedure. Electrical & Instrument system, offline / online inspection. Responsible for efficient running of workshop and engineering stores. Assist E&I Supervisor for electrical and Instrument spares order, reorder and stock control, maintain proper inventory at SAP system. To make sure all the Work Order, permit to work, LOTO system was completed sign OFF and hand back to production before off duty on the day. Proper updated in the SAP system and filing the records are required. To ensure plant spare motors record updated every month and available all the time for immediate replacement. To carry out testing of Generator set, sprinkler & hydrant diesel pump every weekend with proper records. Ensure safety, GMP and good housekeeping in workshop and plants. Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice are carried out including ‘Permit to Work System’. Responsible in practicing 5S culture in the work place. Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the management systems of safety, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP & GMP. Required to be available for breakdown calls at all the times . Perform other related duties as assigned or requested from time to time. Qualifications and skills Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field, or equivalent. Certificate in Mechatronics. Certificate of Competency as a Wireman. Minimum of five years of experience in the oleo-chemical or chemical process industry. In-depth understanding of site engineering requirements and preventive maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities. Experience in calibrating and troubleshooting various plant instrumentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant software applications. Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environmentBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
