The Role:
We are looking for an experienced EI&C Operations Engineer to ensure plant integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. You will drive maintenance strategies and oversee preventive maintenance in the electrical, instrumentation, and control (EI&C) domain. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety of EI&C systems, including ESD (Emergency Shutdown Systems), SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems), and alarm management. Responsibilities: Develop and implement EI&C maintenance strategies in compliance with legal and company standards. Provide technical support for fault analysis on electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, and bus systems. Support and oversee the EI&C team and external contractors. Ensure proper maintenance of EI&C drawings and databases. Supervise or independently manage investment projects related to EI&C equipment. Coordinate legally required inspections. Take technical responsibility for functional safety (SIS). Participate in ongoing training and assume the role of the responsible plant electrician. Support the on-call duty team when required. Qualifications: Degree or technical training in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field. Hands-on experience with EI&C systems and maintenance in industrial settings (preferably chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries). Strong communication skills with a professional and safety-conscious approach. Goal-oriented, independent work style with strong teamwork abilities. Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus. Experience with SAP PM. The Client:
