Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business is experiencing growth at our campus in Chelmsford, MA. We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Technology Technical Lead responsible for the Development, Verification, Production, and Sustainment of multiple subsystems within Advanced Programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the E&T Technical Lead, you will impact everything from Technical Leadership to Technical Reviews. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Subsystems include a wideband receiver with challenging technical, schedule, and cost requirements as well as a software-defined radio and any new technologies for the site within Advanced Programs.
The candidate shall have a proven ability to lead technical efforts with a cross-functional team comprised of all Engineering disciplines.
The candidate is required to support technical reviews internally, with the customer and external stakeholders, and at supplier locations.
The successful candidate will require excellent leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership.
Candidate must possess experience and initiative to ensure technical leadership and support are provided for the development, build, and test process.
The candidate will interface with both the Engineering & Technology Leadership along with Program Management to ensure that the multi-year phased program is appropriately staffed to successfully complete milestones.
The successful candidate will also be required to support technical reviews with all stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities include leading and/or supporting internal and external customer meetings, weekly IPT status, Technical Interchange Meetings, Technical Readiness Reviews, and critical program Failure Review Boards, Risk management, and Mission Success Reviews.

The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology or Math) plus 9+ years of related Engineering exp; or a Masters Degree in STEM plus a minimum of 7+ years of related Engineering experience.
Must have an Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with full investigation within the last 5 years.
Minimal of 2+ years technical multidisciplinary project leadership experience for highly complex hardware, electronics, RF or mechanical projects with little oversight.
The candidate must have experience managing budgets and utilizing forecasting resources.
You should have experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts.
Desired Skills:
An advanced degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is desired.
Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.
Prior experience with RF Sensor development is highly desired.
Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.
Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus.
Experience in leading Failure Analysis and Failure Review Boards.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
