As an E2E Solutions Architect, you will design, develop, and implement end-to-end cloud-based solutions for enterprise-level projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing solutions that are vital to SAP's business, working across delivery units and driving customer and partner excellence. You will also contribute to strategic direction while staying aligned with best practices and business requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture Design: Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across projects. Solution Ownership: Take ownership for designing architectures across end-to-end processes, ensuring readiness for implementation with sales, delivery, and customer engagement units inside and outside SAP. Blueprint Development: Develop target and transition solution architecture blueprints to guide project implementation. Collaboration and Alignment: Actively work with product, process management, engineering, and operations teams to align the architecture with current and future product and cloud offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business/process experts and global stakeholders up to the executive level. Innovation Roadmaps: Define technical roadmap items for innovation adoption with subject matter experts and ensure continuous evolution of the architecture. Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical solutions. Team Leadership: Lead and support development teams in executing architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with project goals. Architecture Review and Integration: Conduct architecture reviews to maintain adherence to industry standards. Develop integration designs for seamless connectivity between SAP Cloud and on-premise systems. Data Architecture Design: Design data architectures that ensure optimal alignment to standards and utilization of central data products. Governance and Approvals: Prepare materials and submit proposals through architecture governance boards for approvals. Strategic Support: Support management in shaping strategic directions for project solutions and customer engagement. Technology and Industry Awareness: Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, SAP advancements, and industry trends to incorporate best practices into solutions. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with architectural decisions and cloud migrations.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

Subject Experience:

Experience in architecture modelling, software development, and programming. Background in IT solutions architecture with a strong understanding of SAP solution portfolios and key methodologies for efficient deployment and operation. Experience working as a solution architect in consulting or close to customers is a plus. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CX, SAP Commerce and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is highly desirable.

 

Lifecycle Experience: Ideally, experience across the full lifecycle from idea to market, with a focus on integration technologies and end-to-end process chains.
Leadership and Coordination Skills: Ability to own, lead, and coordinate operational tasks, escalations, and process improvements.
Collaboration Focus: Experience in aligning delivery architecture with enterprise architecture teams and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
