What You’ve Accomplished
You have completed a BS in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, have worked in an engineering role for at least 0-2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity
This role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Early Career Engineer in Kincardine Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Field Services & Maintenance Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.Receive assistance and instructions on unusual or more complex features and possible solutions, as needed.
Ensure compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
May independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Work on special projects, as directed.
Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.
Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies
Actively participate in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
